This song was done by a band I was in called Rape of the South. We only played one show and then White Wreckage started. I thought I could be in a gentler psych-styled band, but I couldn't. There is (at least to me) a very obvious Warsaw influence here, though the punk sensibilities took over.
This was my renunciation of all things that came previously; my proclamation that I would never but into all-things-normal and middle-of-the-road, that those left behind were indeed left behind. That worked out well, I think.
Dead Cross, Retox, and Qui members dish out subversive hardcore with an indignant smirk; come for the riffs, stay for the synth experiments. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 31, 2024
